CLIFMS
The Course Load, Instruction, Funding and Modeling System (CLIFMS) supports the University's internal evaluation and resource allocation, instructional costing and analysis, state, federal and institutional reporting.

You can enter Instructors' effort distributions, the course and instructor linkages, and apportion effort distribution across the courses. All initial information is established by downloading data from SIS and other information systems.

This application is best experienced by setting the PC to full screen at resolution of 800X600 or higher.

Enter Professional Accomplishments for calendar year 2008 in FS08 ONLY (Fall Semester 2008).
ZPIDs can be used as an alternative to the name when linking courses and instructors. ZPIDs will be updated with the name when there is an active appointment for the term.

Instructor/course linkages and effort distributions should be entered and updated as information becomes available.
Standard dates for snapshots of data by OPB are: 1st day of classes, 1/4 of the semester and end of term. See opbweb.msu.edu for Standard Reports and Planning Profile Summaries.
NOTE: Current CLIFMS users who wish to report non-credit instructional outreach activities need to receive specialized training on using the Outreach module of CLIFMS. Please contact the Office of the Assistant Provost for University Outreach and Engagement (outreach@msu.edu) for further information.
